We can all recall nights sitting in the backseat of our family cars looking out at the lights along the streets as you pass.This warm glow enchants many and invites us to explore these spaces. As we all know, especially in suburban areas, neighborhood diners are hopping places. People go there to meet, share a meal and catch up. Basically, we know them as places to socialize. However, these places aren’t just meeting places, they’re beautiful, glowing landmarks that need to be shown as that. 

In Neon Lights depicts this glow in a more contemporary manner than standard deadpan photography. The original inspiration for this project was a movie theater that was decked out in this bright lighting.  New York is know to have structures with flashy lighting displays, because, in certain areas, things are very spread out. This elaborate  lighting becomes an advertising display of sorts.
